Shelter flooring
Shelter flooring can be used as a short term or longer term flooring material predominantly used in base camps and shelter systems enabling structures, material and resources to be stored and protected in field conditions where the surface is rough, uneven or damaged.
What is Shelter Flooring?
Shelter flooring is ground protection used in temporary shelters such as tents, marquees, and larger structures used for military operations. Shelter flooring is essential in providing a safe, comfortable and hard wearing surface to support the storage of supplies and material.
Shelter temporary flooring creates a gap between the occupants' feet and the terrain floor providing a more comfortable environment. Shelter flooring provides an instant comfort and with quick deployment with little reliance on tools or equipment makes temporary shelter flooring a fast and effective flooring system which can be used in almost any rudimentary shelter.
Rola-Trac temporary flooring requires no maintenance. When recovered to depot or in the field the system, the portable flooring can be easily cleaned with hot or cold pressure washing and standard detergents.
Where can I use Shelter flooring?
Shelter flooring can be deployed on most ground surfaces for use on shelters and military operational centres. Shelter flooring has also been used in much larger structures such as medical centres, mess hits, vehicle workshops and fuel or machinery storage.
